The A Levels allows students to specialise in subjects that they enjoy and are interested in. The A Levels also provide the required depth across a wide variety of subjects.
The modular system of assessment of the A Levels allows students to receive grades and feedback in a format that is benchmarked and calibrated, and well accepted by university admission departments worldwide.
We offer additional academic opportunities to Sixth Form students to supplement their core A Level courses. Subject departments provide enrichment sessions for students considering study of a particular subject at university. Students undertake an ‘Extended Project Qualification’ in order to explore a topic of personal interest in greater depth and also get involved in administering school extracurricular activities should they have an interest. In addition, Sixth Form students are able to immerse their interests in sports, drama, music, the performing arts, and a wide variety of cultural and other pursuits, and house competitions. Sixth Form students at our school benefit from world-class teaching, outstanding facilities, strong leadership opportunities, and a rich and diverse range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
We provide students an education and the skills and confidence to succeed in life beyond school.
